| PUJOL
MUNTALÀ was founded in 1918, originating as a
family business under Josep Pujol Muntalà
(grandfather of the present MD) engaged initially
in the repair of textile machinery. |
- It was not until 1947 that
his son
- Manuel Pujol bought two gear
- cutters with which he began
to
- manufacture spare gears for
the
- textile machinery.
-
|
 |
- In 1957, given the lack of
demand for spare gears, they began to
- manufacture speed reducers,
thought on a small scale, as a secondary
product.
|
 |
It was incorporated as a
PLC in the 1960s. In 1975,
they decided to concentrate solely on the
manufacture of speed reducers as their standard
product.
|
| PUJOL MUNTALÀ, S.A.
currently occupies a surface area of 16,000m2

Spanish manufacturer of speed reducers and geared
motors. |

 |

countries in the world, either directly through
its own Subsidiaries or via Distributors as sole
